Oman Prayer Times is designed to show prayer times for cities in Oman with minimal data use.
Information We Use
The app does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or payment information.
The app lets you choose a city and date so it can show prayer times for Oman. That selected city/date information is sent to our API to retrieve prayer-time data.
The app does not request Android location permission and does not use GPS or background location services in the current version.
The app also stores settings locally on your device, such as your selected city, theme, and iqamah preferences, along with cached prayer-time data for offline access.
How We Use Information
We use selected city/date information only to provide the app's core features:
- show prayer times
- calculate the next adhan or iqamah countdown
- save and load your app preferences
- cache previously loaded prayer times for offline use
We do not use this app for ads, analytics, marketing, user profiling, or account management.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed to provide the app's features, support the service, resolve issues, and meet legal or security obligations.
Data stored on your device remains there until you clear the app data or uninstall the app.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections where supported by the service, to protect information in transit and on our systems.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes To This Policy
